Minimum age for Canadian Kennel Club conformation shows

*Puppies between 4 and 6 months of age can enter into the Baby Puppy class in CKC Conformation events.

The CKC counts age as number of full months at the time of the show date. For example, if your dog was born on January 1, it would be 4 months old at a show that was held on April 1 show.

A month is not calculated as 4 weeks or 30 days, etc.

DogShow.ca validates the age of your dog automatically, so you don’t have to worry about entering an incorrect class based on age.

Be sure to the premium list to ensure that the Baby Puppy class is offered. Not all clubs offer the class, and if they do, sometimes they only offer it for some of the shows.

I have an unregistered puppy? Can I enter Canadian Kennel Club events?
