If you are entering the shows and have an unregistered (or “listed”) dog, the procedures have changed. You now have to get a temporary competition number (TCN) before you enter.
This is a requirement as of March 2, 2020.
TCNs can be obtained:
- Online (https://www.ckc.ca/CanadianKennelClub/media/Documents/TCN-Registration-ENG.pdf?mc_cid=4986906a8f&mc_eid=[UNIQID]) through CKC’s Portal (Note: Individuals who have not yet used the online Portal will be required to create a Portal account before they can submit a TCN application online);
- By submitting a completed paper application (https://www.ckc.ca/en/Files/Forms/Shows-Trials/Exhibitors/Temporary-Competition-Number-Application-Form-No-1?mc_cid=4986906a8f&mc_eid=[UNIQID]) by mail to CKC; or
- By contacting the Shows and Trials Division Toll Free at 1-855-364-7252.
